TSA urges authorities to take action on suspension of ERASMUS and Youth in Action programmes
The Tourism Studies Association is urging all relevant authorities to resolve this
issue that is depriving hundreds of students and youths from the programmes of Youth
in Action and LifeLong Learning (which includes Erasmus). The mismanagement of a
few people is will deny students, NGOs, Local Councils, Youth Centres and other entities
from valuable funding of educational purpose, thus denying these from fundamental
rights of education and mobility (in the case of Erasmus). TSA is not welcoming the

Also, Malta as a whole will suffer, since due to suspension Student Organisations, NGOs, LCs etc., will not be able to invite foreign counterparts for visits and programmes, thus diminishing cultural exposition of Malta and potential repeat tourism opportunities, apart from the haunts of a national shame.
TSA hopes that this is only a temporary measure and that matters will be solved smoothly as soon as possible. Critical action is adamant and imperative, in the interest of national pride, knowledge and education.
